Local 304 Acts on Promise to “Remember in November”

Hundreds Protest W. VA Legislature's Right to Work Bill

localspotlight_wv-rtw-2016-5UWUA Local 304 members are fulfilling their promise to “Remember in November” when West Virginia State Senator Bill Cole arrived at a fundraiser for Ryan Ferns, one of his allies in enacting so-called right-to-work legislation in West Virginia and repealing of the state’s prevailing wage law. The anti-worker legislators and their backers are defending of each other with a hefty public relations campaign and the gift of a permitless concealed carry law to try to get West Virginians to forget that they went to Charleston and were funded by outside interests to pass ALEC’s anti-worker agenda. The legislative session closed with NO state budget and HUGE cuts in the Public Employee Insurance Agency, yet another slap at unions and their members.
