Every four years, the UWUA holds its constitutional convention to consider amendments and discuss resolutions that support our union’s democratic processes and set our organizational priorities. UWUA’s next convention will be held in July, 2027.
Additionally, the UWUA regularly convenes members from across the country for trainings, educational events, and conferences. These gatherings are an opportunity to collaborate and share ideas and information.
2026 REGIONAL CONFERENCES:
Join us at the 2026 UWUA Regional Conferences to level up your leadership credentials. Featured speaker Jon Fussell will share insights on what makes a team elite when the stakes are highest. He draws on two decades of real-world leadership in the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams to break down the five critical behaviors that consistently separate elite teams from the rest, whether on the battlefield or at the bargaining table.
In addition to this dynamic keynote speaker, conference participants will have an opportunity to hear from AI experts who will share insights about how this tool can be used to benefit members, including during contract bargaining. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other local union leaders, hear updates on UWUA committees and their work, and much more.
