Erin Bzymek

Erin Bzymek is the communications director for the Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA), AFL-CIO. Previously she worked for a leading independent PR agency where she worked with clients to elevate their national media profiles and guide messaging strategy.

She has worked in politics, the non-profit sector, and on campaigns for over 15 years including as senior press secretary for the BlueGreen Alliance, a national partnership of America’s largest labor unions and environmental organizations. On Capitol Hill she worked for senior members of Congress including Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (NJ) as deputy press secretary and the late Rep. John Dingell (MI) at the Energy and Commerce Committee. She also worked for President Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and for the Minnesota DFL.
