Thank you to all who participated in the 5th Annual THAW – The Heat and Warmth Fund – Bowling Benefit on March 13! Thanks to the generosity of 72 bowlers and countless sponsors, Local 223 raised nearly $4,000. Proceeds from the benefit will enable THAW to provide energy assistance to Michigan families in need. Your support will keep these families safe and warm through Michigan’s harsh winter season.
Local 223 held the benefit at the Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan. Next year, the committee plans to try to move the date back to mid-January 2017 to see if we can get more bowlers to participate.
