Glenn Thomas
1931-2023
Long-time UWUA National Representative Glenn Thomas passed away on July 10, after a remarkable 91 years of life. Thomas served as UWUA National Representative from 1970 to 1997. He came out of Local 164, which represents water and wastewater members at the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania. In addition to his service to the UWUA, Thomas was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department and Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association and past president of the Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Association.
