UWUA Announces 2022 Regional Conference Schedule

WASHINGTON, DC (JANUARY 27, 2022) – The Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) today announced the dates and locations of the 2022 regional conferences, which will take place in person. This year’s conferences are designed to empower and educate our union’s membership. The four conferences will offer workshops on safety, legal education and organizing intended to help members sharpen their skills and make them more effective advocates.

At each of the conferences, Labor Consultant Steve Wyatt will hold a workshop on public campaigns and there will be a panel discussion on organizing. Stay tuned for more details regarding workshop sessions and featured speakers!

Please Note: The UWUA will follow city, state and federal health protocols with regard to COVID-19. In an effort to protect all attendees, and especially those who may be immunocompromised, attendees will be required to be vaccinated, and/or have a negative viral COVID-19 test within 24-72 hours before the start of the conference. Attendees will be required to wear a mask during all conference events.
