I just wanted to say thank you for a great conference. We have the fight of our life's ahead of us. Together we can show the world that we are the voice of tomorrow. As a union!! All the things that I learned this week have been very invaluable to the future of our local, our community, and our way of living. My goal is to keep the passion alive within our members, be proud of the history of this great union. Thank you for the tools that will help me be successful in the in this endeavor.
I now have the goal, the mission and direction in which to be successful for the coming year. I would not have been able to achieve it without her help. As I walked away from the meeting I could think of aspects of looking to change the laws in the state of Michigan to help promote safety, utility workers as first responders , as well as public safety.
You have set forth a great path to follow. As with all great challenges it will take a great deal of work, but I know I am up to the challenge!
