Pennsylvania is living up to its reputation as a battleground state in national elections. And the UWUA is key to a labor victory in the Keystone State. This week working family households will see an unprecedented amount of mail and television commercials from union-backed candidates.

The UWUA's Jim Lewis prominently stars in the first television commercial for Dan Connolly for Congress in PA CD-18.

"The 2010 election results will determine whether we move forward together as one nation or continue down the now well-tread path of polarization, joblessness, stagnation, anger and despair. And who will really suffer? Our children, our grandchildren and future generations," UWUA President Michael Langford says. "Do your part; get out the vote on November 2!"
