Utility Workers Union of America Announces Legislative Activities for 2012
UWUA Legislative Conferences 2012The Utility Workers Union of America plans to hold legislative conferences within each of its regional conferences in 2012. These conferences will bring together UWUA's leadership and activists to develop legislative and political action plans to stop the radical rightwing assault on America's working families. Featured will be high profile and well-known guest speakers like Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan, UAW President Bob King, US Senators, and many others. 'We all must do our share to reinvigorate our nation's economy and middle class, and restore balance between the one percent who are running things now and us 99 percent who are paying all the bills," said President Mike Langford.
